Master Zi Malonga
Master Zi has studied Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and Traditional Vedic Yoga for over 50 years. He has been regarded as an innovator in the health and wellness field for more than 25 years as well. His interests in martial arts, engineering, and human biology have shaped and influenced his journey.
Master Rob Hoffman
Master Rob is the Dean of Doctoral Programs at Yo San University, where he also received his master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He received his doctorate (DAOM) from Five Branches University in San Jose, and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Zhejiang Chinese Medicine University in Hangzhou, China.
Sifu Kyle Anderson
Sifu Kyle began training Tai Chi in 2014 after relocating to Los Angeles from Chicago to pursue art and animation. As an artist and writer, he emphasizes the importance of the personal narrative in the practice, and implores all practitioners to simply tell their stories.
Anisa Kassim, LAc, MPH, CHES
Anisa Kassim is a Public Health Educator and Licensed Acupuncturist. She received her MPH from UNC Chapel Hill and has worked in public health for 18 years. She is also a Yoga teacher, specializing in Pre/Post Natal movement. At Dharma Health Institute, she is the Pre/Postnatal Movement teacher and oversees the acupuncture and herbalist programs.
Master Reid Shapiro
Holding both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in International Affairs, Master Reid initially saw a future as a spy, but his path took him to marketing and sales. Master Reid eventually became one of Master Zi’s first Los Angeles students. He teaches Yoga and Tai Chi.
Sifu Diane Griggs-Ross
Diane R. Griggs, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, is an advanced Tai Chi practitioner. As a trained mental health therapist, she believes that molding traditional and non-traditional approaches promotes a more holistic approach to healing and wellness. She has been using practices such as hypnotherapy, astrology, TaiChi, and yoga in her work for many years.
A licensed psychotherapist with 20 years of experience, Elena believes in straightforward insight and developing warmth and love for the self and those around you. She believes everyone has the power to make changes in their lives, but may need some help along the way. Tai Chi and Yoga are two ways of helping.
Devi started as a Marriage and Family therapist, and quickly became fascinated by the mind / body connection. This led her to energy work including Reiki and Qi Gong. Devi focuses on the natural flow of energy as a way to promote physical and mental healing.
